Some campgrounds stand out from the others … in a very good way. Sometimes it is the campground itself, and sometimes it is the campers who are consistently attracted to the park. Silver Lake Park offers a magical combination of ingredients that contribute to a memorable outdoor recreational experience. The campground offers feet of waterfront, with a delightful, gradually sloping, sandy beach that is perfect for children. Enjoy swimming in crystal clear water; do some serious fishing for largemouth or smallmouth bass; or boat, canoe or kayak for miles on the lake and river. At the end of the day, marvel at the sunset across the water from your campsite. This is the way that camping in New England was intended to be! Many of our campers are seasonals who would not think of camping anywhere else. If you are interested in seasonal camping come stop by to see what is available. We have available empty sites for your RV as well as sites with RVs already set up complete with a screened porch.

Sandy Hook as seen from the top of Navesink Twin Lights , Highlands, New Jersey Geologically , Sandy Hook is a large sand spit or barrier spit, the extension of a barrier peninsula along the coast of New Jersey, separated from the mainland by the estuary of the Shrewsbury River. Sandy Hook is part of Middletown Township, although not contiguous with the rest of the Township. Because the peninsula is a federal reservation, this technicality is essentially moot.
The community of Highlands overlooks the southern part of the hook. Sandy Hook is owned by the federal government. The eastern shoreline consists of public beaches: The southern part of the spit consists of public beaches, fishing areas, and the SeaGull’s Nest, a seafood restaurant operated by a concessionaire. The peninsula’s ocean-facing beaches are considered among the finest in New Jersey and are a popular destination for recreation in summer when seasonal ferries bring beachgoers.
Gunnison Beach is one of the largest clothing optional beaches on the East Coast. The school was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy in , and rebuilt the subsequent year.

The Caroline returned with 18 ling cod and limits of rockfish for 13 anglers while fishing local waters. They have some limited room in the upcoming week. While there were a few kings caught here and there last week, salmon fishing remained somewhat slow according to Todd Fraser from Bayside Marine. One thing always stays the same for fishing in the Monterey Bay and that is, every year is different. Some are slow for certain species while other years are very productive.
Welcome to St Ives Bay Holiday Park – Cornwall. Our Cornish holiday park is set in undulating sand dunes running down to its own sandy three mile long beach**.
They only have two pitches set aside for tents but if there is space and there are no more vans booked in they will take more tents. Try and get one away from a hook up point as they have a bright light on top of them and shine in the tent all night like a search light, we ended up fastening a bin liner round it! There are rules about rules on this site, how you pitch, where you put your car, no cycling, vacating the toilet block 5 minutes before scheduled cleaning time and when I was getting showered, a lady not official telling us how to rotate through the showers correctly to ensure efficient “throughput”!
All that aside – the wardens are friendly and the location is brilliant. Right next to the dunes of Dunnet Bay. Everyone else was tucked up in their caravans and campers watching TV.

The one request I made was to be put in a satellite friendly space. I tried to get a change into another more open location but the agent was totally unhelpful. Said if I didn’t fit, he would give me a refund.

She runs into the room with a look of horror on her face. He tells her he booked a massage the other day to support her and has come in for his appointment. Isabelle tells him that that’s impossible. When she looks at the calendar she sees a fake name. Tyler laughs at his ingenuity adding that he used a fake name to keep it a surprise.

He cuts her off correcting that he’s her step-son. Before she has a chance to stop him, he picks up the first thing he sees: He reads the label out loud: She laughs nervously explaining that the company fucked up the order and refused to take it back.
She replies that that’s just the uniform here. He asks her ‘Aren’t you the one who decides what your employees wear since it’s your business? He laughs and shakes his head, ‘Mom, you don’t even let us choose our breakfast cereal

Premise[ edit ] The station’s new program director, Andy Travis , tries to turn around struggling radio station WKRP by switching its format from dated easy listening music to rock and roll , despite the well-meaning efforts of the mostly incompetent staff: To help bolster ratings, Travis hires a new disc jockey, New Orleans native Gordon Sims who takes on the on-air persona of Venus Flytrap ; and allows spaced-out former major market DJ Dr. Johnny Fever , already doing mornings in the easy listening format as John Caravella, to be himself.
Rounding out the cast are super receptionist Jennifer Marlowe and enthusiastic junior employee Bailey Quarters. Lurking in the background and making an occasional appearance is ruthless business tycoon Lillian Carlson , the station’s owner and the mother of Arthur Carlson. Main ensemble[ edit ] Andy Travis Gary Sandy. For the most part, program director Andy Travis serves as the straight man for the eccentric staff of the station he has been hired to run. Before coming to WKRP, he had an unblemished record of turning around failing radio stations, but meets his match in his wacky staff members, of whom he becomes reluctantly fond.
The show’s opening theme song is about Andy and his decision to settle down in Cincinnati. In the season 4 episode “The Creation of Venus,” Andy echoes the opening theme lyrics in talking about his past “Got kinda tired of packing and unpacking, town to town, up and down the dial”. Andy usually wears very tight jeans, something to which Jennifer Marlowe alludes, much to Andy’s surprise, in the season 2 episode “Most Improved Station”.
Arthur Carlson Gordon Jump , occasionally called the “Big Guy”, is the middle-aged general manager, whose main qualification for the job is that his mother, a business tycoon, is the station’s owner. Mama Carlson adopted strict methods in raising him, in the mistaken belief that it would make him strong.
